Etsy Site is now restocked!!

About a year ago I opened an Etsy shop.  Put several skirts in it that hadn't sold at the store I made them for.  But then I got lazy and never did anything more with it.  Never advertised, never really revamped my look.  Recently I relisted the skirts I have left here and added some other bits and pieces of hand created stuff I've done.  There is more to come and I'm still working on my 'look' but it is up and ready for you to go shopping!  Check it out when you have the time:)

Below are some of the things you will find in my shop!

I have been doing a 'thought-closet makeover' using the book 'Me, Myself, and Lies' by Jennifer Rothschild, and I just had to share some of what I read this morning.  The new chapter I started is called 'It's a Woman's Prerogative To Change Her Mind.'  (we have been thinking about how we label ourselves and what we tell ourselves with our thoughts every day, and working to clean out that thought-closet and refill it with good and Godly thoughts)
Philippians 2:5 says Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus.  KJV
Today I read it in my NIV and it reads like this:  Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus. !!!!  WoW!!  That really struck me.  We have been dealing with some not-so-nice attitudes around here lately and I feel I was led to this this morning.  I didn't HAVE to look it up - it was written in the side margin of the study book - in the King James Version.  And in that version it is very familiar to me.  I am so thankful that God led me to look it up anyway and read the other translation because it really put a new light on it for me.  My girls will be hearing this as school starts again next week!
Continuing on the thought of the mind of Christ - here are some words I jotted down after looking up the Bible references my study book gave me:  compassionate, gracious, slow to anger, loving, gentle, humble, restful, sinless, good, truthful, noble, pure, lovely, excellent, admirable, praiseworthy, powerful, approved...

And to quote from the study book:  "Do you realize how you described the mind of Christ is the same way you should describe your own mind?  Wow.  That's why we shouldn't let our minds become polluted."  -Jennifer Rothschild

May you be blessed by this today as I was and may we all continue to live our lives to please the Lord.  May HIS mind be in you!
